Get ready for the NJAR/Jersey Shore Racquet Sports/Classic Athletic Club Summer Series of Events...
So State Singles is over now, and many people are probably going to hang up their racquets until next season, but for those of you who want to still stay in action for the summer months, there will be some tournaments and shootouts held between April and August.  Right now, there is scheduled to be an End of Season Open held in May, and Saturday BBQ shootouts held this summer.  Nothing goes together better than hot dogs, hamburgers, beer and racquetball.  Keep an eye on our events calendar, and watch your email boxes for more info on the NJAR summer series.

New Jersey State Singles Results Now Available...
Congratulations to all the winners from this past weekend at the New Jersey State Singles Racquetball Championships. This was our biggest and most involved tournament to date, and it provided many challenges. A big thanks goes out to the players who cooperated with time difficulties, matches going off late, etc.  It is the players who truly make these events a success, and we look forward to seeing you all over the summer and back for next season.

New Jersey State Singles Starting Times - 126 entrants competing this weekend!!!!!
Starting times for the NJ State Singles Racquetball Tournament can be obtained after 6pm, Thursday, March 6th, by clicking here.  We tried our best to accomodate all time restrictions, however as always, this tournament is jam packed, and some things were unavoidable.  If you can not play at your starting time, please notify us, so we can notify the other person you are playing.  No time changes will be made for this tournament, there simply are not any open courts at all Saturday.  We also tried something new regarding the Women's Singles and Doubles matches.  We have centralized the ladies racquetball this weekend to Sunday, in response to the many females not being able to commit to a two day tournament. Please let us know how you like this format, and if its something we should pursue in the future. See you all this weekend!!!

New Jersey Brings Home the Gold at USA National Doubles in Tempe, AZ!
Congratulations to Aimee Ruiz, NJAR Vice President, for winning the USA National Doubles US Team Qualifier event last week in Tempe, AZ.  Aimee will now be representing New Jersey and the United States on the Adult National Team for the third time.  This is Aimee's third straight national doubles title, a feat accomplished by only two other players in the history of the event, male or female.  We could not be prouder of Aimee, and wish her luck in international competition.

Jonathan Clay also took home the silver medal for the second consecutive year in the Men's A division, and Fred Letter took home the gold in the Mens 65+ division.  Great job by NJ in national doubles. Three players competing, and bringing home a total of 5 medals.
